Ok…so I am going to say it…WTF??
The Iowa Republican reported yesterday that Steve Grubbs (at left) is not only working for GOP gubernatorial candidate Christian Fong…but is also working for a DEMOCRAT in Waukee running for Mayor against GOP State Central Committee Member Isaiah McGee…
What the hell happened to you, Grubbs?
This is another former GOP state party chair that has climbed into bed with the Democrats…first Chuck Larson signs on to be the face of Chet Culver’s disasterous economic development program….now followed by Steve Grubbs running the campaign of a Democrat against Waukee McGee…
I sure hope this means that the Republican Party of Iowa, its legislative leaders and others will blackball Grubbs…where is your loyalty, Steve?
And if it is true that Grubbs is all over Christian Fong..I hope for Fong’s sake that he runs from Grubbs as fast as he can…
At some point when will Republican leaders show they have some degree of principles???
Al…
P.S. Hot wife, Steve. You can’t be all bad for scoring her. Now drop the Democrats as clients or Republicans should drop you.
P.P.S. There is a slice of Mom’s Better Than Sex Dessert for anyone that gives me more evidence of any of these GOP turncoats….

This news, plus Krusty’s Column are just downright depressing. First the news about a ‘Turn Coat” and then the reminder that voters prefer likability over ’smarts’.
Well,,,, it’s 5:00 PM ’somewhere’, so I’m going to order up a Bourbon and Branch Water and sit at the corner table, over by the window. Maybe if I drink enough, the smart people will appear more likable.
i’m with katie. this grubbs stuff is depressing.
Well….I’m sure Grubbs sent a free copy of his book “Winning the Tough Ones” to Fong since he hired Victory Enterprises to run his campaign….
Hmm..how many election campaigns has Victory Enterprises won?? Not too damn many…
This happy picture would never tell you that Stevie tends to make other females around him uncomfortable with his toucy feely tendencies.
The Waukee election has nothing to do with partisan politics. It is all about non-partisan leadership. End of story.
yesterday McGee’s democrat opponent sent out a press release crafted by Eric Woolson, guess there are still some hard feelings from the chairman’s race where Woolson heavily backed Caroll and McGee persuaded the SCC to pick Strawn
